Judging Order for a Californian Rabbit Show

Judging Order for a Californian Rabbit Show

Did you know that understanding the judging order can help in your overall understanding of showing your Californian rabbit? In general, a rabbit show may feature 1,000 to 2,000 rabbits. In order to judge fairly, the rabbits are divided into smaller groups. The best are picked from each of the small groups and then put up to compete against one another. First, the rabbits are divided up by breed. The rabbits are again divided by coloring or color pattern. From there, the colors are divided by age and sex. It’s important to know this order as judges may or may not announce the next class. You will be responsible for bringing your rabbit to the judging table at the right time. If you need help registering your rabbit in the appropriate breed or age group, schedule an appointment with your veterinarian Fort Collins, CO for help before the actual show day.
