Taking your pocket pet out of her cage

Your pocket pet spends a good portion of her time in her cage, and it’s important that you are able to offer her some time outside of it as well. This will offer her several different things, not the least of which will be a change of scenery. With this will come new and different opportunities for activities, open space to move about, and the ability to interact with you more easily than when she is confined to her cage.

Make sure to create a safe space for her prior to letting her out of her cage, and make a point to supervise her at all times as pocket pets tend to be able to get into things you wish they wouldn’t due to their small size, ability to squeeze into tight spaces, and natural curiosity. For more information, please contact your local Livonia, MI veterinarian.
