Your cat and hair balls

Your cat is a big part of your daily life, and you tend to go through good and bad experiences side-by-side. However, there is one thing she is currently dealing with that you aren’t – hairballs. How can you help her manage these?

Hairballs are formed from your pet ingesting shed fur. She cleans herself to remove this, and it winds up accumulating in her system until a hairball is formed. To help with the hairballs that are already an issue, consider asking your cat’s vet about food and treats made to help ease their passing. To prevent new ones from forming, be sure to brush your cat regularly to prevent her from ingesting quite as much fur. Also make sure your pet’s health is a priority, as this will help combat unnecessary shedding. For additional information, please contact your local Wake Forest, NC vet clinic.
