Grooming your Cat

Cats are typically self-groomers. This means they keep their own coat clean, slicked back, and free of dirt, dander, bugs, smells, etc. However, it doesn’t mean that your feline friend doesn’t need a little extra care from you. It’s important to keep your cat groomed on a regularly basis to help keep her looking and feeling great. Cats love to be pampered. Grooming your cat may include brushing, nail trimming, teeth cleaning, ear cleaning, bathing (but not often), and even coat trimming. If you’re not sure how to groom your cat yourself, call a local grooming salon to find out what services they provide for cats. If you’re comfortable brushing and bathing, but you need help with nail trimming or teeth then call the salon or ask if your veterinarian can help. You can also talk with your veterinarian Omaha, NE to find out what works best for your cat’s grooming needs. Learn more here.
